Income and Career Exploration (300 Points)


For the next few days you will be exploring your abilities and interests and trying to determine some career paths that might interest you.  To begin your search, please review the following article:

1.  Pre-Assignment Reflection Article (25 Points)

7B.  Income and Career Tackk WebPage (100 points)
Create a single-page website on Tackk.com that shows information about your future career:
Your page must include the following items:

  • Description of the results from the Vocational Choice Survey
  • Description of the Type of College Chosen and the Logo of the College
  • A brief listing of the costs associated to go to the college listed.
  • Include your proposed major, clubs, and activities you will be in.
  • A link to the listing for the Job you want when you graduate.
  • A Map of the city the new job is in.
  • The following hashtags must be included: #caatech #caacareerlesson
  • At least three (3) pictures of people doing your new job.
  • Proper Heading and Titles For Project – See Example Online
  • A Response Form For People To Email You Information About Your Choice
  • Button "Link" to the Crossroads CAA Website with the Income & Career Lesson 
 Once completed you must email me the link for credit.  The following assessment criteria will apply:
  • Site Created in Tackk.com
  • Site includes: Images, Headings, Text, Active Links, Keywords
  • Layout is clean and neatly arranged
  • Grammar, Spelling, and Sentence Structure is correct
  • Site Link Emailed To Instructor
  • Site Can Be Found With Keyword Search
  • Overall Creativity
  • Safety, Security, and Appropriate Use Policy Observed
You must now search Tackk.com using the hashtags above and comment on at least two other sites created by students in YOUR CLASS!  I will be checking the Tackk's and looking for comments.  Be constructive and polite.  You would want people to be that way with you.

8.  FINAL WORKSHEET (100 Points)
The final worksheet is being handed out along with your packets.  Make sure you fill it out completely (front and back) prior to turning it in.  Make sure you answer the following survey after you have created your Tackk.com WebPage:  (Click Link Below To Take Survey) (50 Points)
